Thought it was live action, and it isn’t. I’m not sure why motion capture is of any interest…Is it because it accurately captures human movement and facial expressions? Aren’t we watching a cartoon, though? So what is the point? Isn’t the very pleasure derived from animation (and from the incredible Herge books too) one of delving into the unreal with no hesitation. Why straddle the line?
